KFON’s commercial Internet services launched at Technopark

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 22 : The commercial Internet services of the Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) inside the Technopark Campus, was launched on Wednesday.  

 

Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO, Technopark, inaugurated KFON’s services at the IT Park at a function titled ‘Synergy 2024’ last evening.  

 

Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd) said it is a milestone day for Technopark, and he urged techies and officials to explore the bouquet of services offered by KFON, just as the Park Centre has. The CEO exuded confidence that the IT ecosystem, including companies and the IT fraternity, will benefit from KFON connectivity.   

 

In his address, Dr Santhosh Babu IAS, Principal Secretary & MD KFON, informed that KFON’s commercial services to household have reached 23,000 connections and this launch from Technopark will give a fillip to KFON and enable IT companies to become aware of the seamless connectivity, industry-level Service Level Agreement (SLA) and support that KFON offers.

 

On the occasion, Mr Raja Kishore Yallamati, CTO of KFON Ltd., gave a detailed presentation on ‘KFON Infra and Advantages’.   

 

The industry leaders Mr. Mr M S Sujith Unni, Regional Head, nasscom; Mr Prasadu Varghese, Vice Chairman, GTECH and CEO, Ospyn Technologies, highlighted the telecom trends within the IT industry and explained how KFON can leverage its infrastructure and connectivity options within the IT fraternity.

 

Mr Moses Rajkumar, General Manager, KFON and Ms Reshmi Kurup, CFO, KFON, also spoke.
