Brief description :
We are looking for a Senior Accounts executive to join the finance department and take over the whole gamut of accounting responsiblities for our company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for heading the finance department and reporting to the management. We need a highly disciplined professional with inherent leadership qualities and the attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate reporting in all areas. The successful applicant will have a basic knowledge of the financial functions of IT firms and will have prior experience with tax issues.
Responsibilities and duties
· AR and AP Accounting
· Prepare accurate, timely financial statements.
· Book Keeping.
· Statutory and PF Filing
· MIS Reports ,FS, Ageing Reports,
· Budget Forcasting.
· Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
· Mentoring the team
· Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues.
· Review all transactions and generate invoices as needed.
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts
· Coordinate semi-annual audits with Auditor for conducting audits
Preferred skills
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Master’s preferred)
· 5+ years’ experience in general or tax accounting
· Experience with computerized ledger systems
· Advanced knowledge of Excel
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
· Familiarity with zoho books is a plus
