Researcher (Market Study & Analysis) - Urgent requirement

We need a talented researcher who can identify, source, collate data and perform primary and secondary research on multiple verticals. The Researcher needs to well document the findings towards a well-formed report.

Key responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and understand their business needs and challenges

Identify proper sources and channels of data collection

Ensure that the identified data sources make sense in terms of requirement ecosystem

Manage important parts of research project, including survey design, data collection, compliance, quality assessment

Analyzing market trends/factors and interpreting statistical results using quantitative techniques

Serve as research and evaluation lead for various market analysis, program evaluation, and qualitative research work

Work with clients and internal departments on the facilitation of different data sets

Provide on-site research and evaluation consultation support for site visits, trainings

Present as subject matter expert and report owner at meetings

Design and execute qualitative research projects to support marketing, product, and cross-functional teams on a wide variety of domains, including customer needs, segmentation, product design, and customer communications

Define research methodology and effectively turn insights into actionable recommendations

Conduct strategic market research as requested and required on competitors, targeted customers, industry trends, and available resources to make recommendations on market approaches

Continuously monitor the market evolution, pre-empt/forecast market dynamics, and provide in depth recommendations to the business on how to act

Extract, analyze and interpret continuous data for the cluster and synthesize into a clear and compelling story that drives action

 

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

Proven ability in designing and executing, often complex, research projects to address various business topics, across customer satisfaction/loyalty, attitudes/behaviors, product development, brand positioning, usability, customer journey, messaging/value proposition, social media listening

 

Strong skills in conducting descriptive statistics (e.g., frequency, cross-tabulation, significance testing, analysis of variance, correlations) and knowledge of advanced analytics (e.g., logistic regressions, factor analysis, cluster analysis, conjoint design, max-diff)

 

Preference

Proven hands-on technical skills including an analytical package (R, Matlab, SAS, Weka) big data processing tools (Hadoop, Java)

Advanced working experience and application of SAS, STATA, and/or analysis programs

Documented experience of support in writing, pursuing, and winning business development efforts

Significant documented publication and presentation experience

Solid knowledge and experience with a broad array of research methodologies

 

General Skills

Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Excellent communication skills to deliver strong messages and presentations to high level management

Energetic, self-motivated and has a positive attitude
