Job Description
Techversant is looking for an experienced and Innovative QA Lead responsible to lead the overall QA efforts for the projects/products across different platforms, mentor, and set up the QA teams, and ensure all QA processes and guidelines. Will lead a team of test automation engineers and collaborate closely with the development and quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities
Lead a QA team for a project in a dynamically evolving project environment.
Own the complete QA process from Requirement analysis till Production deployment.
Lead the effort to build new test frameworks and or extend existing frameworks
Work with the test engineers to design and develop a reusable architecture for the test automation.
Implement the latest QA practices to ensure high quality and efficiency in QA delivery.
Need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders from the Product Owner, BA to Customer support.
Monitor and deliver on key QA KPIs and related metrics.
Make estimates based on the requirement and complexity.
Prepare technical specification document.
Preferred skills
6+ years of experience in QA agile projects
At least 2 years of experience in leading QA Teams and owning all QA deliverables
Min 3 years of automation experience
Experience in manual testing
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with test automation tools and libraries (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
Good in Test strategizing, planning and estimation
Good experience in full STLC, Test estimation, Test scenarios identification, Cross-browser and Mobile Device testing
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Good experience in Testing with APIs, Databases, Data Warehouse and Reports
Strong SQL knowledge
Experience in using different troubleshooting tools for Browser & Mobile app testing
Experience in using QA management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla etc.
Conduct technical, face-to-face interviews with candidates and support the recruitment process
Experience in API automation using Postman or JMeter or SOAPUI
Good understanding of Web application security
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good in building Excel reports, dashboards
Performance testing experience using JMeter
Good understanding of security testing
