Brief description :
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with experience in testing JavaScript applications to join our dynamic development team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, conducting manual and automated testing, identifying and reporting issues, and working with developers to resolve problems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for JavaScript applications
· Identify, report, and track issues in a bug tracking system
· Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues
· Participate in the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
· Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
· Conduct compatibility testing across different browsers, operating systems, and devices
· Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, playwright or similar
· Perform load and performance testing on JavaScript applications
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing
Preferred skills
· 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with JavaScript applications
· Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
· Proficient in using automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress or similar
· Experience with API testing and integration testing
· Familiarity with agile software development practices
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Detail-oriented and able to work independently
· Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus
