We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer specializing in functional testing with expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, and SOAP UI, as well as a strong understanding of accessibility (ADA) compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and accessibility of our software products meet the highest standards. As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and address any functional or accessibility issues, ensuring an exceptional user experience for all customers.

Experience : 4 + years

Responsibilities: 

• Utilize Selenium for automated functional testing and create efficient, scalable test scripts to validate software functionality. 
• Implement Cucumber for behavior-driven development, creating executable specifications and enhancing collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter to assess the performance and scalability of web applications and identify potential bottlenecks. 
• Employ SOAP UI to perform functional and security testing of SOAP and REST web services, ensuring the reliability and security of our software products. 
• Conduct thorough accessibility testing to ensure compliance with ADA guidelines, providing a seamless user experience for individuals with disabilities. 
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to effectively validate both functional and accessibility requirements. 
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and user stories. 
• Document and track identified issues using appropriate tools and methodologies, and work closely with the development team to resolve them in a timely manner. 
• Design and implement automated testing processes to improve efficiency and test coverage, while continuously enhancing the overall QA strategy. 
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices related to functional testing tools and accessibility compliance, applying this knowledge to enhance our testing processes. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proven experience working in a QA role, with a focus on functional testing using Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, and SOAP UI. 
• Strong understanding of ADA guidelines and experience in conducting accessibility audits and testing for web and software applications. 
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts, with a strong understanding of test planning and test design. 
• Experience in using automated testing tools and frameworks for functional and performance testing. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
