Orisys Academy is a leading educational institute providing top-quality training and coaching for students preparing for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and OET (Occupational English Test) examinations.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated IELTS/OET faculty to join our team in Trivandrum to help students achieve their desired scores and reach their academic and professional goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct IELTS/OET classes for students in a classroom setting or online, depending on the preference of the students and institute requirements.
2. Develop tailored lesson plans based on the individual needs and progress of each student.
3. Teach all components of the IELTS/OET exams – listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
4. Provide students with detailed feedback and guidance on improving their language skills and exam performance.
5. Prepare and administer practice tests, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback.
6. Keep track of students' progress and maintain records of their achievements.
7. Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and contribute to the overall growth of the institute.
8. Be proactive in staying updated with the latest changes in the IELTS/OET exam format and trends in English language teaching.
Preferred skills
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience as an IELTS/OET faculty or in a similar role.
3. A strong command of the English language, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Familiarity with the IELTS/OET exam structure, format, and marking criteria.
5. A positive and encouraging attitude towards teaching and helping students.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Proficiency in using technology, such as online teaching platforms and tools.
