Brief description :
Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting and financial functions. The CFO will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership:
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the goals and objectives of each business unit and support growth and sustainability.
- Provide financial guidance and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
2. Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee day-today financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for each entity.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and financial mismanagement.
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to create and manage annual budgets.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks that may impact the organization's financial stability.
4. Ensure Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports and tax filings.
6. Audit and Risk Management:
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Lead and execute inventory audit to optimise operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the financial interests of the organization.
Preferred skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A certified Chartered
Accountant (CA) qualification is a must.
Experience: 5-10 years of experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Manufacturing industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
