Brief description :

VMware and Windows:

·         Experience working in VMWare vSphere enterprise environment Business and Mission Critical Data Center Operations

·         ESXi Hypervisor and Windows Server Administration/Installation/Configuration/Remediation/Patching/Management of VMWARE vSphere infrastructure.

·         Strong in Performance Investigation of vSphere components VM/ESXI/VCSA/HA/FT/DRS/Affinity_Rules/Networking

·         Better understanding of vSphere Ancillary components like Shared Storage/vNetworking/Backup Solutions including Storage Protocols & Shared Storage

·         Understanding of SAN configurations, storage components like Attached_storage/SAN_switches/HBA/LUN_mapping/RAID/volume groups

·         Troubleshooting Knowledge on VM Operations like Snapshot Management/Reconfiguration/Power Management/Files deep Functions & Lock Issues

·         Hands-on Experience on vSphere Components, Log Analysis to find the Root Cause and Remediation.

·         VMWare certification: VCP / VCAP

Networking:

·         Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks

·         Good understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP model and networking protocols

·         Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools

·         Configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routing and switching areas to maximise network efficiency and security

·         Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases and reporting network status to key stakeholders

·         Networking certification: CCNA / CCNP

Preferred skills

Others:

·         Exposure to Backup solutions – Veeam Backup & Replication

·         Exposure to Cloud solution - Azure Entra ID & Microsoft 365

·         Providing support to customer IT environment, Technical Transition & Documentation skills

·         Good communication, written and verbal 

·         Experience in handling global customers

·         Team management experience

Shift Details

·         Willing to work in Night Shifts - 24x7 coverage on a rotational basis.

Qualification

·         B. E / B.Tech / MSc IT / MSc CT, CCNA certified (Preferred CCNP)VMware VCP / VCAP Qualification

Experience

·         6 to 8 Year Overall in Windows and Networking environment and 3 plus years in VMware vSphere
