A Junior Java Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining applications using Java programming language. They work closely with senior developers and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The following are the main responsibilities for a Junior Java Developer:
· Design and Develop new projects with clean and excellent quality code.
· Maintain, update and add new features to the current Java based application
· Liaise with the QA team to ensure that delivery is on high standards
· Prepare estimation for the new projects.
· Liaise with onshore counterpart /business owner to clarify queries and support them for UAT.
Preferred skills
Mandatory Skills:
· Minimum 6 months experience in developing web-based applications using Java, JSP, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Angular.
· Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
· An ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise multiple, concurrent tasks
· Willingness to learn and master new technologies
