We are looking for a for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice – Enterprise Technical Support Engineer to join our Support Operations team in Trivandrum, reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Support. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience supporting Infoblox customers, learning our products, tools, and troubleshooting best practices. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about networking and eager to grow in a technical support role.

What you’ll do:
- · Learn and assist in providing remote technical support to Infoblox customers and partners
- · Shadow senior engineers and gradually take ownership of support cases under supervision
- · Observe and help in diagnosing network issues, researching solutions, and documenting resolutions
- · Build knowledge in DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Infoblox technologies
- · Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and internal transfer of information (TOIs)
- · Support lab activities for product testing and simulation under guidance
- · Learn to work in a 24x7 support environment, including rotational shifts as required over time
What you’ll bring:
- · Solid interest in technical support and customer-facing roles
- · Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- · Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- · Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- · Coursework, internships, or certifications in networking, Linux, or Windows administration are a plus
- · Passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving
- · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
What success looks like:
After six months, you will….
- · Gain a foundational understanding of Infoblox products
- · Begin contributing to case resolution under guidance
- · Document learnings and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
After about a year, you will…
- · Identify skill gaps among engineers and develop training modules
- · Confidently support product-related issues in a customer-facing role
- · Become proficient in product knowledge to deliver customer/partner training if needed
