Key responsibilities:
Lead data collection, validation, transformation, and analysis from multiple internal and external sources.
Translate complex business problems into data models and analytical frameworks.
Source and organize data using advanced data provisioning tools, ensuring datasets are optimized for analysis.
Design and implement custom reference data, groups, and hierarchies to support advanced analytical use cases.
Develop scalable dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Apply statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques to solve business problems.
Clean, de-duplicate, and transform raw data into accurate and usable formats.
Deliver scheduled and ad hoc reports and dashboards that support decision-making across departments.
Work with marketing and other cross-functional teams to analyse campaign performance, user behaviour, and customer trends.
Handle large datasets and support data governance, quality, and compliance requirements.
Guide and mentor junior analysts to ensure best practices in data handling and reporting.
Explore and apply new tools and methods for Social Media Analytics, Google Analytics, and other digital data sources.
Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Strong experience in end-to-end BI development: requirements gathering, data modelling, and reporting.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, SQL (MySQL/SQL Server), and data querying.
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or R is an added advantage.
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking with the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all data work.
Proven ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a proactive mindset.
Ability to take ownership, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
Previous experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is preferred
