We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our analytics team focused on optimizing the transportation, tracking, and damage claims processes for finished vehicles. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data mining, dashboard/report development, and business intelligence tools, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Perform data mining and transformation to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for management and operational teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Monitor and improve data quality, integrity, and performance across systems.
- Support damage claims analysis by integrating data from tracking systems, incident logs, and external sources.
- Leverage AWS services, especially Amazon QuickSight, for scalable and secure data visualization.
- Ensure data governance and compliance with internal and external standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and ETL.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight.
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with logistics, transportation, or supply chain data is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
