Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough coverage of software functionalities.

Test Case Development: Design and document detailed test cases, including positive and negative scenarios, based on software requirements and specifications.

Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.

Defect Reporting & Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring clear communication with the development team.

Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests to verify that recent code changes have not adversely affected existing functionalities.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.

Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results for future reference and compliance purposes.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance to enhance testing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in manual testing techniques and familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium or QTP.

Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.

Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
