About The Job:
The Engineer – Monitoring Services is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of the client’s IT infrastructure,through comprehensive monitoring and analysis. This role focuses on ensuring the availability and reliability of the IT infrastructure by effectively managing and addressing alerts. This role requires you to work in shifts, including weekends, on a rotation every one/two months.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Respond to the alerts received in the ticketing system from the monitoring tools.
- Prioritize and respond to alerts promptly, diagnosing the root cause and taking appropriate corrective actions to mitigate any impact.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions to restore normal operations quickly and efficiently.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to communicate the status of ongoing issues and provide updates on resolutions.
- Ensure that the SLAs for monitoring services are met.
- Document incidents and their resolution, ensuring accurate work log added to the ticket for future reference and analysis.
- Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline monitoring processes and reduce manual intervention.
What Will Be Your Career Growth Path:
- Upon completing three months from your start date and based on your performance, you will be moved to one of the core technical teams: Service Desk, Windows & Cloud, DevOps, or Linux as L1 Engineer.
- If you are a top performer and have completed one year in the L1 team, you will be considered for an L2 role upon successfully clearing the interview for L2 Engineer.
