Brief Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Spring Boot,MySQL, and Restful APIdevelopment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-basedapplications using Spring Boot framework to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners,Architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality and ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Optimize and refactor code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to the improvement of development best practices and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Java ecosystem and continuously improve your technical skills.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and bugs to maintain application reliability.
  • Ensure that all software development follows industry standards and organizational policies.

Preferred Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degreein Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5+ yearsof professional experience inJava development, with hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of Java SEand Java EE concepts, including multi-threading, design patterns, and JVM internals.
  • Solid experience in RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Proficient in working with MySQL (or other relational databases) and writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of modern version controltools, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience in working within an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in acollaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and provide leadership within the development team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with microservices architecture and Docker containerization.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWSor Azure.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnitor TestNG.
  • Experience in building scalable, high-performance applications in production environments.
