Position Overview:
This role focuses on end-to-end sales and business development activities targeting government departments, PSUs, and CSR-funded projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public procurement, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to uncover high-impact opportunities across Kerala and other states.
Key Responsibilities:
Government Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with government bodies, PSUs, and public agencies in Kerala and other states.
- Lead the bidding process for tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs via GeM, CPPP, and state eProcurement portals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, officers, and decision-makers across relevant departments.
- Closely monitor each project from initiation through execution to final payment, ensuring timely follow-ups, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with internal and client-side teams to ensure project milestones, billing schedules, and deliverables are met.
CSR Project Development:
- Identify CSR-funded project opportunities across India where the company can serve as an implementation or solution partner.
- Build strategic partnerships with corporate CSR teams, NGOs, and implementing agencies to position the company’s offerings in line with CSR goals.
- Track CSR spending trends, project announcements, and funding allocations by companies under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Develop and present customized proposals and solutions that align with corporate CSR objectives, compliance norms, and impact-driven outcomes.
Product & Channel Sales:
- Promote the company’s full suite of offerings to government, enterprise, and mid-market clients.
- Work with OEMs to expand product-specific sales pipelines.
- Develop new client relationships and manage partner/channel engagements to drive regional growth.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets defined by management.
Marketing & Outreach:
- Execute regional marketing strategies aligned with public sector and CSR priorities.
- Represent the company in government expos, CSR summits, conferences, and networking events.
- Create impactful sales collateral, case studies, and presentations tailored to specific verticals or geographies.
Market Research & Reporting:
- Continuously monitor government policies, budget allocations, upcoming tenders, and CSR disclosures relevant to the company’s business verticals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and submit clear, actionable weekly reports summarizing sales pipeline status, key developments, challenges faced, and next steps for management review.
Primary Work Location:
- Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Head Office/Base)
- Travel across Kerala and other Indian states as required
