Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers; ensure system stability with updates, backups, and security patches.
• Manage and optimize network devices (firewalls, routers, switches) for performance and high availability.
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and enforce IT security policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 hardware, software, and network issues.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Design and deploy infrastructure solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
• Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with sales teams to assess client needs and design technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, BoMs, and cost estimates for RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Lead technical presentations, demos, and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) for clients.
• Stay updated with training sessions and certifications for skill upgrading and partnership maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and IT infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in Linux distributions and scripting
• Virtualization and containerization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in CI/CD Tools
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
