We are seeking a Network and Security Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise networks and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be CCNP certified or possess equivalent certifications, with solid expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and network security best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Design and implement secure network architectures for on-premises and hybrid environments.

  • Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewalls and implement advanced security policies.

  • Monitor network performance and security using appropriate tools and logs.

  • Ensure uptime, availability, and performance of network and security systems.

  • Perform regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

  • Manage VPN, remote access, and secure data transmission protocols.

  • Handle incident response and resolve network-related issues efficiently.

  • Document network configurations, procedures, and update diagrams as needed.

  • Collaborate with IT and Infrastructure teams to ensure overall network security compliance.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • CCNP (Routing & Switching/Security) or equivalent certifications (PCNSE for Palo Alto preferred).

  • Proven experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, and security appliances.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and security concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, NAC, and network monitoring tools.

  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and documentation standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SD-WAN, load balancers, and cloud networking (Azure/AWS).

  • Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Python scripts).

  • Exposure to compliance standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST.
