Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in General Insurance to oversee and streamline operational processes. This role requires an individual who has experience in insurance operations, particularly in General and Medical Insurance, and a deep understanding of the industry’s processes. Retired professionals from General Insurance companies or those with extensive experience in the field are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the General Insurance department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Supervise and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to ensure seamless workflow and service delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to operational teams, ensuring that they are equipped to perform at their best. 
• Ensure smooth handling of claims, underwriting, and other operational tasks, with a focus onaccuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with external partners, brokers, and clients to address any operational issues oropportunities.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices to ensureoperational excellence.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in General Insurance operations
• Extensive experience in managing operations within General Insurance, Medical Insurance, or related fields.
• Retired employees from General Insurance companies or those with significant experience in insurance operations are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations, claims handling, underwriting, and customer service processes.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
• In-depth understanding of industry regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
