Junior Bioinformatics Analyst

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement computational biology software solutions.
Analyze biological data using computational and statistical methods.
Develop and apply AI models to solve complex biological problems.
Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing computational biology tools and pipelines.
Contribute to the development of cloud-based solutions for data storage, analysis, and visualization.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality software development.

Qualifications:

Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
Solid understanding of bioinformatics principles and methodologies.
Experience with programming languages such as Python and R.
Basic knowledge of AI techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
Experience with relevant project work or internships in bioinformatics, AI, or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience:

Projects or internships involving genomic data analysis, protein structure prediction, or molecular modeling.
Experience with AI applications in bioinformatics, such as predictive modeling, image analysis, or sequence analysis.
Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases like BLAST, GenBank, or PDB.
Exposure to cloud-based bioinformatics solutions and services.
