IT Park celebrates 78th Independence Day

Highlighting that the IT fraternity of Technopark is contributing immensely towards nation-building, Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO, Technopark, said the state’s vibrant IT ecosystem plays a critical role in digitally empowering the country.
 
Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd) was addressing the IT professionals, Park Centre officials, the O&M team, and maintenance staff after hoisting the tricolour on the 78th Independence Day at Technopark here on Thursday.
 
Wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day, he emphasised upon that we are all blessed to be belonging to a country that has a rich heritage, believes in unity in diversity and is progressing many-fold socially, economically and technologically. “On this day, we commemorate the struggles and sacrifices of our freedom fighters and also the immense contribution of our armed forces in safeguarding our nation,” the CEO added.
 
Noting that India has a great demographic advantage of an innovative young generation driving the technological advancement in the country, he said “Technopark can take pride in the contribution of the IT companies and especially the young professionals on the campus towards the economic and technological development of the state and the nation.”
 
Citing the recent calamity in Wayanad, the CEO said “It is our responsibility to seriously ponder upon freedom from environmental degradation and make concerted efforts to abstain from activities that cause stress to the earth so that it ensures a secure future for the posterity. This must be thought about not only at organisational level, but also at individual level.”
 
 
In Technopark Phase III, Shri Suresh Kumar, K, Secretary-Registrar, Technopark, hoisted the flag while Shri Madhavan Praveen, General Manager (Projects) unfurled the tricolour in Technopark Phase IV. Smt Jayanthi R, Assistant Officer, (Finance & Admin), hoisted the flag at Technopark Phase V (Kollam).
