A high-profile business delegation from the German Business Group, Bengaluru visited Technopark to explore the opportunities in the state’s vibrant IT ecosystem.
Expressing their keen interest in leveraging the IT ecosystem of the state, the 12-member delegation interacted with Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd.), CEO of Technopark, who gave a ringside view on the salient features of the state's robust IT ecosystem and achievements of Technopark.
Speaking to the delegation, Col Nair (Retd.) said Technopark gives prominence to the synergy of technology and ecology to ensure a balanced growth pattern to meet ESG goals and the availability of a talented workforce in the park drives Kerala's IT ecosystem in a big way. Technopark stands tall as an ecosystem enabler of the state and pride of the nation being the first IT park of the country.
Noting that the state has been a leader in many aspects, including socio-economic development, the CEO said apart from a robust digital ecosystem to collaborate with, the capital city is an emerging technology hub, a strategically important location of the country and it boasts of excellent infrastructure, talent pool availability, connectivity and sound social fabric.
“The operational cost in Technopark is 30 per cent lower than in Tier-I cities. Substantial investments are coming up in the city. We can facilitate all activities of investors by putting together all the resources,” Col Nair (Retd.) stated.
He also responded to the delegation's queries regarding the single window clearance system and land availability at Technopark.
“Kerala with it's highly skilled literate and creative talent pool is a great place for both the manufacturing and services sector. It offers the dual advantages of enhanced productivity and a shorter learning curve,” reiterated Hubert Reilard Chairman of the German Business Group and was deeply impressed knowing about the vibrant digital ecosystem of the state.
