Global Public School’s GPS Stepping Stones in association with The Learning Curve, has opened its fully equipped Crèche and Kindergarten in Taurus Building, Technopark Phase III, which can accommodate infants to six-year-olds.
The facility, the first in Technopark Phase III campus, aims to ease the parental concerns of Technopark employees, who can now trust their children with GPS Stepping Stones Crèche and Kindergarten.
The Learning Curve is a premium Preschool and Daycare chain in India.
“Creche is an important social infrastructure to support the parents who have small kids in Technopark. With this first creche opening up in Taurus Niagara building in Technopark Phase 3 by Global Public School it has enhanced the social fabric in our park” said Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd) CEO Technopark.
“In our conversation with Taurus COO, we realised that there’s a necessity for a facility like this in Technopark Phase III campus. This will be a great relief for a lot of employees working here who have infants and small children. By using our facility these parents can have easy access to their children in their work space itself, considerably reducing their stress,” said Shri P Jacob, Chairman of Global Public School and Managing Trustee of Global Education Trust which runs the school.
“Post Covid, it was difficult for companies to get their employees back to office, from work from home culture, and one of the reasons for that was many of the employees had small children at home. So, this kind of a facility will be of great support for parents who work in Technopark, who can drop their children here in the same building where they work and can check on them whenever they wish,” said Krithika Kariappa, Chief Marketing Officer, Taurus Investments Holdings.
The child-friendly Crèche has a feeding room, experiential learning classes, and other necessary amenities. It will be working from 8 am to 6pm every weekday.
Global Education Trust has already acquired land in Technopark campus to set up schools. This will have classes from Pre-KG to Grade 6 initially in CBSE curricula, Grade 1-5 in IB curricula and Grade 6-8 in the Cambridge curricula in the first phase. They plan to move up to Grade 12 for all curricula in a phased manner.
