DIGITAL MARKETING APPRENTICE AT ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY PARKS – KERALA (Technopark)

Electronics Technology Parks – Kerala (Technopark), is hiring through NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) skilled candidates to the following job role, on contract basis. The role does not guarantee a permanent employment for the candidate.

Job Role: Digital Marketing Apprentice

Period of Apprenticeship: One year

Stipend:   Rs 12,000/- per month

Year of passing: 2020 onwards

Mandatory: NATS Registration required

Overview: The Digital Marketing Apprentice would be the key person in charge of executing Technopark’s digital marketing campaigns. He/she is to be involved throughout the campaign ideation, planning, implementation, measurement, and optimisation process. It is therefore essential that he/she has hands-on experience using various digital marketing platforms. The Digital Marketing apprentice should work closely with the internal marketing team of the park and the digital agency to achieve Technopark’s specific objectives set by the Chief Marketing Officer such as increasing digital presence, lead generation and brand engagement.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Liaison with the digital marketing agency in the development of the overall digital marketing strategy of the park in accordance with Technopark’s vision.
  • Implement digital marketing activities across a broad range of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media Platforms, Email, Mobile, Display) in accordance with the scope of work allocated to the digital marketing agency.
  • Manage and maintain Technopark’s digital presence such as websites, mobile apps, social media and other online platforms.
  • Support the digital marketing agency and to take ownership for the creation of relevant and engaging digital content for publishing onto various digital platforms.
  • Extend support to the digital marketing agency in managing the social media marketing campaigns.
  • Extend support to the digital marketing agency in managing digital advertising campaigns (SEM, Google Ads, Banner Ads).
  • Extend support to the digital marketing agency in managing SEO campaigns.
  • To set up conversions, event tracking on the website and across various digital platforms.
  • Conduct research on market trends, brand audiences, competitors and drive end-to-end consumer journey to boost engagements and conversions.
  • Analyze digital marketing analytics reports submitted by the digital marketing agency and share insights with the internal marketing team to develop optimization plans.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital tools and platforms, digital marketing trends, new technologies, and share insights with the internal marketing team and
  • Any other relevant responsibilities as entrusted/advised by the park.

 

Should also be capable of individually handling the following

 

  •  Publishing digital marketing content online.
  •  Implementing email marketing campaigns.
  •  Measuring digital traffic and preparing insightful reports.
  •  Monitoring social media and Google Analytics.
  •  To decide on appropriate placement of ads.
  •  To define scope of work to be rolled out in the future.

 

The Candidate of our choice would be having,

·       Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices

·       Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM.

·       Working knowledge of ad serving tools.

·       Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.).

·       Skills and experience in creative content writing and to come up with new ideas that captures customer focus.

·       Analytical, critical thinking and data interpretation skills.

·       Experience in analysis and presentation of market data using charts and in conducting market research with data analytics software’s.

·       Excellent communication (both English and Malayalam) and interpersonal skills.

·       Basic design skills.

·       Possess a portfolio and a proven track record of successfully executed digital marketing campaigns.

·       Is able to proofread and edit for various marketing sources to ensure consistency in branding.

Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Marketing Communication/ Digital Marketing with a flair in Digital Marketing
