Brief description :

  • Candidate should be able to understand customer’s requirements and present best & optimized solution to the customer requirement
  • The candidate should be able to conduct detailed discovery process to understand customer’s existing setup & and how proposed solution integrates within their business
  • Prior experience of consultative sales/presales engagement with end customers will be a huge plus
  • The candidate should be able to generate BOM (Bill of Materials) for the selected solution which may include integration of various technologies from different OEM’s
  • The candidate should be able to create detailed proposals which include requirements, solution design, architecture, business benefits, BOM and commercials
  • Scrutiny of tender or requirement documents (Specification, MEP drawings).
  • Evaluating tender documents, drawings & schedules for BMS requirements.
  • Preparing I/O Point summary for controlled equipments.
  • Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers.
  • Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations on both technical and commercial aspects of product & specifications.
  • Pricing, Preparing BOQ & Quote.
  • Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.
  • Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires.
  • Work with Sales personnel to provide product and technical knowledge in support of pre sales activities.
  • Developing and generating the sales and related reports for analysis
  • (S)he should be able to collaborate with other specialists, partners, development team during presales process
  • The candidate should be able to provide technical presales support for Tenders & RFPs whenever needed
  • The candidate should be able to conduct demonstrations of the solution & articulation of benefits to customers as and when necessary
  • The role will require the candidate to work closely with the project delivery team for smooth handover and implementation of the solution for client.
  • Proven track record of imparting consulting to Enterprise / Commercial / PSU clients and driving large multi-technology solution bids with end-to-end ownership
  • Knowledge of leading best practices architectures and methodologies in the domain

Preferred skills


  • Minimum 5 to 7 years over-all experience with minimum 3 to 5 years in pre-sales/consulting role handling Complex multi-technology projects in Enterprise / Commercial / Public Sector verticals.
  • Hands on Implementation Experience 2-3 years
  • Client Facing/Pre-sales/Consulting Experience 3-5 years
  • Good knowledge of networks, security, unified communication
  • Knowledge of leading best practices architectures and methodologies in the technology infrastructure integration domain.
  • Good verbal and written communications and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for assimilation of new technologies and solutions.
  • Independently handle all consulting related activity and assist sales organization in driving the medium & large consulting opportunities.
  • Preferable knowledge in competition products across networks, security and data center solutions.
  • Should have worked in similar capacity in earlier organizations.
  • Experience in solutioning, implementing / managing complex projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated capability in driving continuous improvement projects
  • Demonstrated team building, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – demonstrated ability to relate to executives and business
