Senior ETL Developer - Team Lead

Brief description :



  • Design and develop analytic solutions to handle large volumes (multiple Terabytes) of structured and semi-structured healthcare data (Claims, Revenue Cycle, Supply chain, EMR and other transactions data)
  • Develop new analytic products, automate existing models, tools and processes to support rapid client implementations and refresh schedules
  • Incorporate client/product owners feedback and experience into solutions to foster continual improvement
  • Engages with team members, business analysts, client service teams and data scientists to understand data needs for the project, come up with data model, produce technical designs to develop ETL solutions
  • Develop ETL processes to populate dimensional data models in warehouse
  • Design and develop scalable production grade data validation and automation scripts
  • Implements best data management and product development practices including data integrity and quality standards, frameworks, templates, naming conventions and coding standards

Preferred skills


  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Math, Engineering or related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on data modeling, database design, application development, ETL  coding experience using Microsoft SSIS and T-SQL or similar tools
  • Experience handling large volumes (multiple terabytes) of incoming data from clients and 3rd party sources in various formats such as text, csv, EDI X12 files and access database
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, .Net in an application development environment or business intelligence tools (Tableau, SSAS ) is preferred
  • Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and version control tools
  • Highly motivated, strong problem solver, self-starter and fast learner with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills
  • Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
