The Office 365 Admin will be the subject matter expert for ongoing operation of Exchange Online and integrated Office 365 services, such as SharePoint Online, Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams etc. The successful candidate will have significant knowledge of Exchange Online within an Office 365 framework, email services, and associated configurations.

Working as part of a small team the candidate will develop the roadmap and service delivery for the full suite of tools and applications within the Office 365 landscape. The successful candidate will have a background in support of Office 365 with a history of developing Office 365 / SharePoint solutions.

2-3 plus years’ experience in: Project management experience implementing and maintaining Office 365 solutions that focus on workflow, document management, and content creation for web-focused business teams.Hands On administration experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies, such as, Azure, OneDrive, Yammer, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Skype Audio/Video Conferencing.

Stays up to date on O365 changes MS releases around each O365 product including Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint, etc.

Lead activities around O365 licensing. Experience in managing B2B or extranet model a must.

Collaborate on O365 technical roadmaps with assigned Microsoft DPORs.

Develop, Maintain and update O365 governance documentation.

Maintain PowerShell scripts used to manage\support the O365 environment for multiple apps--Exchange, Azure, SharePoint.

Coordinate with software development teams for the integration of applications that support Office 365 solutions.

Provides training on O365 solution offerings, as well as IT orientation and security training.

Proven understanding and background in implementing services such as Rights management, DLP, Archival, Retention Policies, MDM, Email Encryption, and Threat Protection.

Experience configuring SharePoint sites


Preferred skills

Any Degree with 5+ years experienced Exchange Admin , with exposure to Office 365.

Practical knowledge on architecting, implementing & supporting Enterprise Office 365 solutions: SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Yammer, Skype for Business Online, OneDrive for Business.

Troubleshoot directory synchronization issues from Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Sync, and DirSync.

Understands and can troubleshoot authentication services including Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) and Azure AD.

  • Good interpersonal skills coupled with good verbal, written and organizational skills. 
  • Functions as a lead worker doing the work like those in the work unit; responsibility for training, instruction, setting the work pace, and possibly evaluating performance.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must have proficient technical, analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours when the need arises. Travel between the various datacenter sites may be required.
