Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the business head, pre-sales and delivery managers in architecting and implementing business strategies
  • Drive the creation of solution portfolios based on market insights
  • Identify new markets in different geographies(India, Middle East) and generate business for the portfolio of service offerings
  • Coordinate and manage the entire sales life-cycle right from opportunity identification to deal closure and achieve defined growth targets
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy across different channels
  • Establish and strengthen the company's business development processes
  • Responsible for building alliances and partnerships


Key requirements of the role

  • Track record/evidence of business growth achieved
  • Ability to contribute as an individual or work in a team and should be a go-getter
  • Strong background in new business development
  • Familiarity with any of the emerging IT trends (Mobility, IoT, Cloud services, Data Center solutions, Hyperconverged infrastructure)
  • Capable of handling multiple products and services and cross-sell as required
  • Ability to interface with C-level executives
  • Ability to build relationship with clients and penetrate new accounts/logos
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in India market on Enterprise accounts

Preferred skills

  • MBA or equivalent degree with minimum 5 years of experience preferably in IT services/solutions companies
  • Past experience in marketing/business development activities in IT companies including startups
  • Technical experience like software development, infrastructure design and delivery or project management will be an added advantage
  • The candidate need not be located out of Trivandrum
