Brief description :

Director Financial Services (12 - 15 years experience)
  • ​Direct the Trivandrum Accounting Shared Service center establishing best in class functional performance and service delivery to the regional finance leads. Establish procedures and controls as well as KPI for performance measurement.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting and analysis in accordance with US GAAP. Submit accurate reports and information to US parent in accordance with requirements. Maintain complete and accurate records and backup documentation and assure proper archiving of records. Develop, maintain and implement appropriate internal controls to protect all assets. Process A/P, A/R, T&E and G/L transactions. Interface and coordinate with international team members. Provide customer service focused financial service delivery to internal and external customers.
  • Drive productivity and efforts to improve service delivery, shorten the close process
  • Measure and analyze results of key performance measures.
  • Provide information to outside accountancy organizations as required and oversee timely and accurate annual tax reporting and financial audit.
  • Provide business and financial training regularly to India associates.
  • Develop, document and implement efficient processes to deliver best practice services and provide continuous improvement.
  • 12 - 15 years’ experience including at least 2-3 years overseeing a Finance shared service center for a global organization
  • Strong Microsoft office systems skills
  • Prior experience in large ERP systems Required. Preferred systems -SAP, Navision, Microsoft AX.
  • Experience in implementing ERP systems as project lead.
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Knowledge of USGAAP strongly preferred. Understanding of revenue accounting a plus
  • Experience developing a strong team – recruiting, hiring, performance evaluations, firing.
  • CRO industry experience preferred but not required

  • Effective organization and workload maintenance: tracks and oversees timely completion of all managed tasks. Delegates, prioritizes and manages work activities which can be demanding and require extra effort to meet agreed deliverables and dates.

  • Manage day to day interactions with bank.
  • Direct the accounting functional leads with development and reporting of key metrics and indicators. Measure and analyze results of key performance measures.
  • Provide information to outside accountancy organizations as required and oversee timely and accurate annual tax reporting and financial audit – both global and local in nature.
  • Provide business and financial training regularly to India associates.
  • Develop, document and implement efficient processes to deliver best practice services and provide continuous improvement.
