HFS Software India Private Limited Celebrates Office Expansion

HFS Software India Private Limited has moved into its new office in Leela Infopark, Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. The opening day ceremonies were held at 10:30 a.m. on October 19, 2011. Mr. V. Jayakumar, CEO, Leela Infopark, Mr. M. Vasudevan, Senior Manager Business Development, Technopark, and Anoop Ambika, Secretary, GTech were among the dignitaries who participated in the opening ceremonies. Also in attendance was Mr. Rick Durant, Vice President, Harland Financial Solutions, representing the parent company of HFS Software India Private Limited.

HFS Software India Private Limited is a fully-owned subsidiary of Harland Financial Solutions, a U.S.-based financial services software provider. The company currently employs 50 people in its Trivandrum office and considers the location a Centre of Excellence for research and development. The purpose of the move to the new office is expansion for growth, as the company plans to grow to more than 150 employees over the course of the next few years. The Centre will provide research and development for major Harland Financial Solution products sold and supported in key markets, including self-service channel solutions, platform automation, branch systems, core banking applications, and more.

Harland Financial Solutions gained its Thiruvananthapuram office, formerly SRC Software Private Limited, through an acquisition late last year as part of its strategy to broaden its self-service channel offering. SRC Software first opened its doors in 2003, providing software development support to a financial services software company based in the U.S.A.
