NASSCOM OFFICE IN TECHNOPARK INAUGURATED

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom), the premier association of the IT-BPO industries in India, has opened its  office in Kerala, also the first one outside metros.  Nasscom currently have offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkotta and Pune. The Nasscom office at the Park Centre in Technopark, Trivandrum will cater to the needs of the IT/ITeS Companies in Kerala.  The branch office at the Park Centre building was formally inaugurated by Mr Rajendra Singh Pawar, Chairman of NIIT Technologies and Chairman,NASSCOM in the presence of  Executive Council Members Mr. Krishnakumar Natarajan - CEO & MD, Mindtree, Mr. Avinash Vashistha – CMD, Accenture India, Mr. Ashank Desai - Founder & Non-Executive Director, Mastek, Mr. Ganesh Natarajan - VC & CEO, Zensar Technologies, Mr. Rajan Anandan - VP, Google India. Ms. Roopa Kudva - MD & CEO, CRISIL. Mr. BVR Mohan Reddy - CMD, Infotek Enterprises. Mr. C.P Gurnani - CEO, Satyam Computers. Mr. Ganesh Lakshminarayanan - President, Dell India, Prof. Pankaj Chandra – Director, IIM Bangalore. Mr. Aparup Sengupta - MD & CEO, Aegis, Mr. Harish Mehta - CMD, Onward Technologies, Mr. Saurabh Srivastava – Chairman, CA India, Mr. Rajesh Nambiar – GM, IBM India,  Mr. Sharad Sharma - Chairman, Movico Technologies, Mr. Bhaskar Pramanik - Chairman, Microsoft India, Mr. V.K Mathews - Chairman, IBS Group.

Mr Som Mittal speaking on the occasion said that Kerala is one of the most ideally suited States for IT/BPO Industry and setting up a branch office in Technopark, Trivandrum signifies the importance NASSCOM has attached to Kerala.  Mr Rajendra Pawar, Chairman, mentioned that the facilities provided in Technopark are excellent and the TECHNOPARK will definitely continue to be a breeding ground for IT/ITeS Companies.  He also said that the new branch office of NASSCOM will provide the necessary impetuous for the growth of IT/ITeS industry in the State.
